Terms of service

This is a translation for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

This version applies to visitors who are not signed in. Signed-in users find the complete terms of service (in German) under the same address after signing in.

1. Provider and subject matter

Carpool is an editorial tool that log42 GmbH (see legal notice) provides to automotive journalists.

2. Closed group of users

Carpool is open only to editors and their helpers who have been invited by log42 GmbH. There is no public registration. Access is personal and must not be passed on; login details must be kept secret.

3. Connected accounts (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, blog)

Users can add or connect their own channels in Carpool so that Carpool retrieves their published posts and can assign them as coverage. The connection is voluntary and can be removed in the settings at any time; for TikTok also in the TikTok app, for Facebook in the Facebook settings. In addition, the terms of the respective platform apply, in particular the YouTube Terms of Service. Carpool never publishes anything on these platforms on behalf of its users.

How Carpool processes personal data is set out in the privacy policy. German law applies.
